MAMMUT mixing technology for CBG in India

Our MAMMUT agitators are currently being installed at Shreesatwa Bio CBG in Himmatnagar, India. The agitation technology is being used in conjunction with pumping and separation technology – as part of a high-performance solution for operating a large-scale CBG plant in India.

Large fermenters, high dry matter (DM) contents, challenging substrates

Large-scale CBG plants in India place particular demands on the technology used. Large fermenter volumes, high dry matter (DM) contents and challenging substrates require a mixing system that operates reliably and efficiently even under these conditions.

Powerful and uniform mixing is crucial, particularly for substrates with a high dry matter (DM) content. It helps to maintain a homogeneous fermenter environment and prevent problems caused by sedimentation or floating layers.

For the long-term stable operation of a CBG plant, therefore, it is not only the performance of individual agitators that is crucial. What is crucial is the interplay between fermenter volume, substrate, dry matter content, agitator positioning and the required mixing capacity.

MAMMUT – designed for demanding applications

The agitator was developed for reliable use in demanding biogas and CBG plants. Its robust construction and high mixing capacity enable effective mixing even with high dry matter (DM) contents and challenging substrates.

However, it is not just a question of achieving the highest possible performance. What is crucial is that the agitator technology is suited to the digester and the specific plant design, and that it operates reliably over long periods of time.
