Finding the right pump.

On most farms or biogas plants, liquid media (liquid manure, water, leachate, fermentation substrates, etc.) must be pumped reliably. The right pump technology is used here. The range of tasks performed by pumps can be very diverse:

  • Pumping liquid manure or biogas substrate (possibly with a high dry matter content)
  • Filling slurry tanks and transport vehicles
  • Pumping between pre-pits, cross channels and storage tanks in slurry technology

Pumps in the biogas plant

Pumping technology in the biogas plant is of great importance - from substrate transport between the tanks, solids feed through to separator feeding. Specially coordinated pumps are required. Which pump is suitable for which task in the biogas plant depends on the viscosity, the dry matter content, the installation location and the desired output.
