To support our team, we are looking for a member of staff in the role of:

Strategic and Operational Procurement (m/f/d)

Procurement of components for biogas plants, pump technology and separators – sounds good? It gets even better!

Your responsibilities:

  • Obtaining quotations and preparing detailed comparisons of quotations with recommendations for action
  • Negotiating quotations regarding prices, delivery and payment terms
  • Placing orders, tracking deliveries, checking delivered goods and verifying incoming invoices
  • Needs analysis and planning of required materials (monitoring of stock levels) or services
  • Searching for, selecting, evaluating and maintaining relationships with suppliers
  • Handling complaints and reminders
  • Development and monitoring of procurement-related master data in the ERP system
  • Continuous optimisation of procurement processes and creation of the necessary KPIs
  • Close collaboration with the Logistics, Production, R&D, Work Planning and Financial Accounting departments

 

Your profile:

  • A degree in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering, vocational training as an Industrial Clerk, or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in strategic/operational procurement is desirable
  • Assertive personality with quick comprehension, strong negotiation skills and a goal-oriented, independent working style
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and standard MS Office programmes
  • Good written and spoken German and English
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
